Day 86 of our World cruise. March 31, 2025.
Today is our third day at the Maldives resort. This morning we had an included photo shoot where a photographer took our photos in scenic spots on the island. After breakfast we enjoyed a little pool time then went snorkeling. Then went to the beach bar for lunch.
Day 85 of our World cruise. March 30, 2025.
Today is our second day at the resort in Maldives. We had a wonderful dinner last night in the Italian specialty restaurant.
The menu is selected off their iPad.
Today we rode our bicycles all over the two islands the resort owns. There are no cars, no roads, no motorized anything. Just electric golf carts. Each bungalow comes with two bikes.
Day 84 of our World cruise. March 29, 2025.
Our position today in the tiny island nation of Maldives.
Today we were up at 5AM for our transfer to the domestic seaplane port for a 6:50 AM flight to our island resort.
Turns out we were not on a seaplane, but a small turboprop as it was faster.
Then a speed boat to our resort.
Maldives is made up of over 1,200 islands.
Our home for the next five nights and six days.
