Day 83 of our World cruise.  March 28, 2025.

Today is our travel day.  Our Perth hotel shuttled us over to the Perth airport. We went through Australian customs and security with no issues.  Just a kiosk where you scan your passport and go.  We stopped at the Tax refund station and submitted our receipts to get the GST tax we paid on stuff we purchased while in Australia.  Got back about $170 so not bad. 

Our flight to Male is in two legs:  Perth-Singapore and then Singapore to Male.

 Day 82 of our World cruise.  March 27, 2025.

This is our second day in Fremantle.  The ship will depart for the seven sea day trip to the Maldives, just south of India.  

We will disembark today and fly to the Maldives with a stop in Singapore.  We will spend those seven days enjoying a little break from the ship and a nice resort.

In the morning we went ashore and took an included excursion of Perth and Fremantle.  

After the excursion we returned to the ship, had lunch, and packed a few things and headed to the train station for Taranto our hotel in Perth.  Tomorrow will be our flights to Singapore and then Male, Maldives.

 Day 81 of our World cruise.  March 26, 2025.

Our position today is docked in Fremantle, Australia.  A suburb of Perth, Western Australia.

The blue dot of course is our location.  The red marker is where the tiny Asian nation of Maldives is.  Maldives is the next stop of our cruise after a seven day sea-day run across the Indian Ocean.  However,  we decided to jump on an airplane in Perth and fly to Maldives in one day and check into a local over the water hut resort and let the ship pick us up on the eighth day. 

Today, our first day in Fremantle, we went ashore and used Australia’s wonderful public transportation system, a train, and went out of town to the famous Caversham Wild Animal Park.  Had an amazing time seeing and touching the native animals.

Back at the ship we were treated to a local show. The Perth Highland Pipe Band.

 Day 80 of our World cruise.  March 25, 2025.
