Day 6 of our World cruise. January 9, 2025

This morning our ship docked at the cruise port in Malaga, Spain.  After breakfast we went ashore for one of our included excursions.  It was a panoramic and walking tour of the city center of Malaga.  These tours are guided by local guides and they provide small radios, with ear phones so that everyone can hear the guide no matter where you are.  The excursions are divided into groups based on your language.  Of course we were in the English group.  

Our guide was very informative and pointed out many landmarks, and told us the relevant history.  Malaga is the birthplace of Pablo Picasso.  There is a statue of him near where he lived in town.

Today is the first full day in a port with all of the World cruise passengers aboard.  So it is also the first sail away party as the ship departs Malaga, Spain. The drinks were flowing again and a lot of the crew get involved as well.
