Day36 of our World cruise.  February 8, 2025

Our position today;

We left Puerto Montt last night and are on our way to Valparaiso, Chile.  Today we are at sea and will arrive tomorrow morning in port.  We will spend two days in port there. While we are there we will do a couple of excursions.  One will be a city tour the other will be a trip to Santiago, the capital city of Chile.

The weather is quite good now, with calm seas.  We had a nice lunch today and finalized our Australia and New Zealand visas. We had to show the ships guest services folks our visas, which were on our phones.  They take photos of them with a device to show the immigration authorities, then we are checked in without any further action. I’m thinking it will make it smoother getting off the ship in those ports.

Last night the crew decorated the indoor pool area for an Antarctic party.
