 Day 16 of our World cruise.  January 19, 2025.

Our position today at noon.  Salvador, Brazil.


We have now crossed the Atlantic Ocean.  We also crossed from the North Atlantic into the South Atlantic Ocean.  We are in the Southern Hemisphere at our first port in South America.  We have two stops in Brazil, Salvador and Rio de Janeiro. 

Today we went ashore for a city tour of Salvador.  It seems very third world with many homes and businesses having fortified entrances and windows.  Lots of bars and metal doors and windows.
